Michael A. Hovda

As a certified flight instructor, a career trainer, a college instructor, a business professional and the founder
and president of InsideOutLeadership®; Michael Hovda has seen the empowering effect knowledge and
preparation have on the human ability to succeed. With an educational background in counseling, theology
and aviation, Mike has spent a lifetime learning and re-learning the valuable leadership/management
principles he believes are truly keys to success.

Mike is not only an astute business person but an organizational development expert as well. He has
successfully partnered with organizations in designing and implementing strategic plans, analyzing toxic
workplace cultures and charting successful courses going forward.

Mike is also a keen communicator. He has instructed and inspired people through writing, the college
classroom, business seminars, and public speaking events in 48 states as well as Scotland, England,
Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. He has trained leaders from the Pentagon to the
World Trade Center.

Mike is a MBTI™ Certified Practitioner, Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA) and a Certified
Professional Values Analyst (CPVA). Those who have benefited from Mike’s coaching/training skills
range from front line supervisors to senior executives such as SES, CEO’s, COO’s, CIO’s, university
